Villa Orizzonte Blu is a secluded, elegant farmhouse perched on a hillside about two and a half miles above Monterosso. Unobstructed views of the sea and sky create a fabulous holiday environment.
Orizzonte Blu dominates the bay of Monterosso and was originally a hermitage which dates back as far as 1200.It was later turned into a parsonage and the small antique chapel attached to the farmhouse may be visited upon request.
Villa Orizzonte Blu has splendid surroundings and unique views which make it a perfect holiday for large families or groups of friends who wish to tour the Cinque Terre and to enjoy the peace and relaxation of a Ligurian beach holiday.
The particular beauty of this villa is that the owner have a jeep and two mopeds for their guests to use and a reserved car park in the nearby village. It means that you can be at the sea side in a few minutes with a sure place to leave the car. At Monterosso there is a beautiful sandy beach with sun lounges and umbrellas for hire.
The owner takes particular care of their guests, providing you with a small welcoming buffet on arrival.

This villa has not only been carefully and tastefully furnished with marble bathrooms, rare antique pieces, and beautiful fabrics but also the spectacular views from almost every room.
This villa is a cut above normal holiday rental accommodation in the area. Many of it's guests return year after year.
The villa is divided into two seperate wings that are united by internal covered courtyards and it can sleep up to 9 people.
Entering the main wing of the house there is a small living room with a fireplace TV sat, VCR, CD player and internet access as well a dining room that seats up to 12 people.
Going through the covered courtyard is the entrance to the other bedroom area.
Here on the first floor there are two bedrooms, one small single room that was originally a study and the second bedroom with two twin beds, and a bathroom with a shower.
A small staircase leads up to a bedroom on the left that has a double bed and to the right there is a small living room area that leads to the fifth bedroom and another bathroom with a shower. In this living room area there is also a sofa that can be turned into a bed for an extra two people in emergency situations or for two children.
Just off the courtyard there is a fourth bedroom with a shower that can be used especially when coming home from the beach.
Villa Orizzonte Blu is surrounded by a beautiful outdoor garden which is equipped with very nice and comfortable garden furniture as well as a BBQ.
The internal courtyard is as well an enjoyable place for dining outdoors. The views of the ocean dominate the villa from all the windows and any point in the garden.
The meticulously maintained terraced lawns of this villa afford many opportunities for leisurely relaxation and al fresco dining in front of a breathtaking scenery.
These impeccably landscaped gardens are particularly noteworthy, as is the out of sight of the house position of the delightful swimming pool which opens on the lower lawn terrace to best take advantage of this paradise and it shares with you the silence and the spectacular views.This high quality location is definitely hard to come across in the Cinque Terre area.
At the guests disposal there is a parking space in Monterosso (something very hard to come by), which is only a five minute drive down, two mopeds, and a small jeep are at disposal on request.
Special dinners can be arranged upon request in the garden by a local chef.
A two hour daily maid service is included in the price. For those who prefer not to drive the bus stop is only about 700 yards away just in front of one of the local restaurants.
Villa Orizzonte Blu is at Cinque Terra near Monterosso which is a large village with resteraunts, banks and shops as well as a train station connecting you to the rest of Cinque Terra and greater Tuscany.
The trains run from the village up and down the coast on a regular basis.
