Situated in Castello this 2 bedroom apartment is located only a 10min walk from San Marco square. The apartment is located on a very quiet residential street facing a lovely canal (although the apartment does not have a canal view). Le Lanterne is on the 3rd floor (no lift) in the same building as the Castello B&B. There is a very good supermarket on the same street and and only 1min walk away which is handy for cooking typical Venetian meals in your kitchen.
The apartment is large and spcaious, the many windows allow lots of natural light. The apartment faces an internal courtyard, so typical in Italy. You really are living like a local here! There is an abundance of books, magazines and CD's to enjoy in the apartment while sitting on the balcony in the main living room.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms + sofa-bed, fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher), T.V and stereo. There is no washing machine or air-conditioning but fans are available upon request. The owners live next door and are very good hosts.
